Preschool Young 3’s
Children with summer birthdays or who will turn 3 by December 31
- Class Ratio: 2 Teachers to 8 Children
- Days Offered: Tuesdays & Thursdays
- Children attend 2 days a week – 9 to noon
- Close to achieving being potty trained but not 100%. Children will need to be potty trained when returning from Christmas Break.
Learning Goals & Experiences
- Strong focus on social skills that lay the foundation for positive school and peer interactions
- Introduction to Age-Appropriate Academic Concepts
- Activities that promote and develop fine and gross motor skills
- Short group activities that expose the student to taking turns, appropriate vocalization, active listening, walking as a group and maintaining personal space.
- Small group activities that encourage working together and sharing with peers.
Requirements
This classroom is often the first experience children have away from their families. Children in this classroom are expected to be very close to being fully potty trained. This means they should not be having bowel movements in pull-ups or underwear. Our goal is for all children to be fully potty trained by January and able to manage bathroom needs with gentle coaching and support from the teacher. If a child is unable to do so with teacher support, a parent will be contacted to help ensure the child’s comfort and success.
Tuition for Preschool Young 3’s:

- 2-Pay August & January = $1160
- 4-Pay August, October, January & March = $580
- 8-Pay August through November/January through April = $290
